A dedicated and student-focused Assistant Professor with nearly 11 years of teaching experience in Tamil language and literature, I am deeply passionate about Tamil classical texts, including Sangam literature, minor literary works, drama, and epics. I am committed to fostering academic excellence, research engagement, and cultural understanding among students. I hold a B.A. and M.A. in Tamil from Yadava College, affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University, and an M.Phil. in Tamil from the Evening College at the same university. Additionally, I completed my B.Ed. at Peniel College of Education under Tamil Nadu Teachers University. For the past 10 years and 11 months, I have served as an Assistant Professor in Tamil, specializing in Sangam literature, Pathuppaattu, Ettuthogai, Minor Literature, Tamil Grammar, Drama, and Epic Literature. I have guided both undergraduate and postgraduate students in literary analysis and academic writing, while also actively organizing and participating in seminars and cultural events. My teaching approach emphasizes inclusivity and student-centered pedagogy. I possess strong subject knowledge in classical and modern Tamil literature, effective communication and classroom management skills, and expertise in research writing, curriculum development, and academic coordination. I have presented papers at various Tamil literary seminars and am an active participant in inter-collegiate academic forums. I have been recognized for consistent academic mentoring and my contributions to cultural development. I am fluent in Tamil (native) and English.
