Our NPRASC Library has a rich collection of books, journals and e-resources catering to students, research scholars and faculty members. Presently, over 11,012 books, 3053 CDs/DVDs and 34 printed journals are possessed by the library access to more than 11,120 online electronic journals. The library is automated having an online portal that can be easily accessed by the users. The library implemented NPR-ILMS which is an integrated Library Management System that supports all housekeeping operations of the library. There is a separate Digital Library having 30 computers running on high speed internet. The library system and staff is meticulously focused for providing a comfortable, user friendly environment so as to enables learning and knowledge creation.

Membership
The Central Library provides membership for the faculty members, students, and supporting staff of our college. The number of books issued will vary according to the membership category.
- Members Entitlements Loan Period
- Teaching Staff 5 books One month with Renewal
- Non-Teaching Staff 2 books One month with Renewal
- UG Student 3 books Fifteen Days + Two Renewals
- PG Student 5 books Fifteen Days + Two Renewals
Timings
Library working hours are as follows:
Monday to Saturday – 8.50 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. (Only on working days)
Library Rules
- Students are permitted with ID card only.
- Decorum and discipline must be maintained inside the library, silence and orderliness must be observed strictly at all times.
- Chairs should not be transferred from its place.
- Indisciplined activities may lead to disciplinary action and privileges may be withdrawn.
- Members are requested not to bring their bags, folders, etc. inside the library.
- Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
- The library follows an open access system. Books or other materials taken from the stacks should not be misplaced. The library staff can help you or otherwise should left on the table.
- The lending period for all students and staff is two weeks and a maximum of 5 books can be borrowed.
- Reference books and journals are not issued.
- Borrowers must satisfy themselves about the physical condition of the books before borrowing. They shall be held responsible for any damage or mutilation noticed at the time of returning the books.
- The college Transfer Certificate will be issued only after returning all the library books.
- Writing, scribbling, underlining and tampering of books is strictly prohibited.
- Digital library is to be used for academic purpose only
- Online chatting/browsing of social networking sites is strictly prohibited.
