• Ragging is a crime and offence. The Anti-ragging committee deeply observes the behavioural attitudes of the students and forges friendliness among the student community.
  • The committee meets once a month and records all the month’s activities. The students are encouraged to report any ragging-related complaints to the committee and the concerned Heads of the Departments.

  • Formation of an anti-drug squad of student volunteers at the institution and hostel.
  • Carrying out regular as well as surprise visits in Hostels and other places.
  • To protect the health and welfare of all students by solving the drug problem.
  • Organizing various awareness programmes to educate the students about the ill effects of the use of drugs as well as the penalties for violation of the laws.
  • Displaying of Anti-Drug posters at prominent places for awareness of the students.
  • Organizing various programmes against the use and possession of drugs/alcohol.

Drug is Banned in this Institution

The college has an Anti-Drug cum Grievances and Redressal cell with the following rules and regulations under the Supreme Court of India Orders. Drug is a criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly and rioting, public nuisance, violation of decency and morals through Drug, injury to body, causing hurt or grievous hurt, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, use of criminal force, assault as well as sexual offences or even unnatural offences, extortion, criminal trespass, criminal intimidation and attempt to commit any or all of the above-mentioned offences against the victim is considered to be Drug.

Punishment

  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Suspension from attending classes, as decided by the committee.
  • Withholding, withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and any other benefits.
  • Debarring from appearing in any test, examination or any other evaluation process Withholding results.
  • Debarring from representing the institution in any national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
  • Suspension or expulsion from the hostel and the college and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
  • Fine of up to Rs.25000/-
  • Rigorous imprisonment up to three years.
